How it works

The Liqui Moly MoS2 Anti-Friction gear oil treatment is a super concentrated "moly" MoS2 formula that works to "replate" worn toothflanks by forming an anti-friction wear reducing "moly" film that actually "heals" the toothflank damage (pitting and scoring) to reduce or eliminate gear whining and howling. Using the MoS2 in a new or old gearboxes will help improve meshing and running-in of gears and prolong the life of the gearbox.

  Applications

The MoS2 Anti-Friction gear oil treatment is designed for use in Manual Transmissions, Differentials, Transfer boxes, axle drives, and just about any application where gear oil is used for cars and light Trucks.

In addition to increasing operational reliability the MoS2 Technology provides emergency limp-home lubrication capability in case of oil loss.

Not Suitable for: Automatic Transmissions, Oil-bathed clutches, or Oil controlled Limited Slip Differentials.

One tube treats up to 2.5 Quarts of gear oil. Add MoS2 Anti-Friction gear oil treatment directly to gear oil. Depending on load, noise, and age of application a second treatment may be needed.
