The MAX AX is the ultimate emergency preparedness tool designed to be carried as standard equipment on four wheel drive and off road vehicles and pickups. It incorporates seven basic hand tools into one compact and versatile unit based on a 3 1/2 pound Hudson Bay-style ax with a virtually unbreakable 36" composite polyglass handle.

Made from carbon steel tempered to US Forest Service specifications, the ax and its attachments are precision-built for strength and reliability. All metal parts and the composite handle are covered by a lifetime limited warranty against defects in manufacturing or materials. During use the attachments lock into a socket on the back of the ax head. They are further secured with a hitch pin for extra safety.
